HAMLET:
Then is doomsday near: but your news is not true.
Let me question more in particular: what have you,
my good friends, deserved at the hands of fortune,
that she sends you to prison hither?GUILDENSTERN:
Prison, my lord!HAMLET:
Denmark’s a prison.ROSENCRANTZ:
Then is the world one.HAMLET:
A goodly one; in which there are many confines,
wards and dungeons, Denmark being one o’ the worst.ROSENCRANTZ:
We think not so, my lord.HAMLET:
Why, then, ’tis none to you; for there is nothing
either good or bad, but thinking makes it so: to me
it is a prison.
I quite enjoyed the sky after the storm today, as I often do. It’s interesting how I feel about this winter weather before Christmas as opposed to in January and February. There’s nothing different about it physically, it’s just mental associations and personally created meaning. “For there is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.”
This evening I went with Steve, Kate, and Shawn to the Sherwood concert, and it was a blast. They have such upbeat music (and in general they seem pretty positive– I’ve seen other bands start out up and then get darker as they progress, but Sherwood is, for the most part, still as upbeat as ever). I only wish I’d taken my camera… I’ve yet to really try photography at concerts, and these guys were having so much fun that I wished I could have captured it. One of these days… but yeah. Great music, warm and fun performers, and Shawn even got hit on by some girl who wanted to know if he was single. Nice work, Shawn 😉

Gorgeous photos. You’re late on posting… it’s now officially Monday morning and I don’t see a post… and just when you thought I wasn’t watching…
Oh snap. As soon as I got notified of a comment I was like “OH NO.” hahaha. Well that’s a fail, huh?
