Just a brief entry for today. Someone made a reference to this scripture earlier today so I thought I’d make it my post.
Matthew 10:
29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.
30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
31 Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.
Luke 7:
6 Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?
7 But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.
In a nutshell: God cares even about sparrows that might go otherwise unnoticed by humans– and you’re that much more important to Him.
I found this obviously decomposed bird just sitting on the steps outside work. At first glance it just looked like some debris, some dead leaves maybe. I took a closer look and grabbed my camera. I was just amazed that this bird was sitting there in the open at this stage of decomposition apparently unnoticed and undisturbed.

That’s my favorite Hamlet/Shakespeare speech ever. And I mean ever.
It’s such a great play, too. Just the range of emotions and thinking that Hamlet goes through. May need to watch / listen to it again here soon.

I was actually referring more to the scriptures and sentiments in your post, though I do have mixed emotions about the photo (beautiful and gross at the same time, some what of a visual representation of the “opposition in all things” scenario, hahaha).
Blogging month, eh? I’m not sure I could do a post a day for an entire month. And I’m even less positive that the blogging world wants to hear from me that often. 🙂
